At pig farm Borne Agro B.V., Circular Values built, supplied and installed a Reverse Osmosis system. This system is connected behind the existing biology system. The goal is to process the effluent from the biology and produce as much discharge water as possible. What remains, besides water, is a highly concentrated potassium water that can again be used as a fertilizer. The effluent first passes through a candle filter, after which it passes through a 60 bar RO unit. The RO unit has a capacity of 10,000 tons per year and is equipped with an automated Cleaning In Place (CIP) system.
