At a dairy farm in Merselo, our Quadro 2 stationary nitrogen stripper is located behind a mono digester from the Jumpstart project. Because green gas is produced at the location, there is no residual heat present. With that, we have chosen to strip the nitrogen by means of pH increase and without adding external heat. The plant is equipped with a two-stage separation to produce both thick fraction and box cover for the dairy cows as well as a second thick fraction with high phosphate content that can be disposed of.
